EMMERLING PARK BRIDGE INSTALLATION

As part of ongoing park improvements, Indiana Township took delivery of, and set into place, a 56-foot long pedestrian bridge in Emmerling Community Park, which is visible from Route 910. The bridge which was manufactured in California, arrived via truck on Thursday, November 13th. It was set into place by crane, on abutments constructed by the Township's Public Works Department. Its 10-foot wide deck will provide a pedestrian crossing over Deer Creek, thus gaining access to previously unused park land.
